It required a walk to a separate building about 7 minutes away, which was frustrating, especially in the rain. Also, the limited reception hours made it challenging to get immediate assistance when needed. Even though there were no daily cleaning services, the room was clean and came with a private bathroom, making it comfortable. Supermarkets and 24-hour shops were nearby, adding convenience for late-night snacks. Kyoto’s public transport was fantastic, allowing easy access to attractions like Gion and the emperor's palace. Overall, despite some inconveniences with check-in, the room amenities and location stood out as highlights.

The bed was incredibly comfortable like sleeping on a cloud and the room temp was adjustable so I could make it just right for me. Laundry service was a big plus with washing machines and dryers available whenever you needed it no hassle at all.
